I organize internships  seat repairs, throughout the year depending on your availability and mine,  for 1 person or 2 maximum, in order to be  totally at your disposal and teach you this art as well as possible.

​

I offer you a quality internship in my workshop in Toulouse. You  learn how to upholster your seats like a professional upholsterer in the rules of the art, in a way  semi-traditional  (straps, springs, fabrics and foam). We will study together the most suitable way for your seat and especially your desire.

​

I will give you the basics of seat repair, going through the essential steps,  with the support of photocopied documents to serve as a memory aid and allow you to make new armchairs at home, and find the pleasure of doing it yourself.

​

Thanks to your learning, you will quickly be able to give free rein to creativity and impress those around you with your new know-how.

 

IT IS IMPORTANT, WHEN MAKING CONTACT, TO SPECIFY THE NATURE OF THE SEAT YOU WANT TO REALIZE! 

Don't forget to send me a picture of your chair 

for validation.

You practice on a seat that belongs to you, you will strip it in the workshop. 

you can find this seat in the classifieds or consignment sales.
 

   The fabric:

  • bring the fabric
    •      The footage will be communicated to you according to the choice of the seat

  • Fabrics available at the workshop:  (the choice is limited) if necessary  ( cost price)

i.e. a total of 35 hours

You buy the fabric (choose a special seat upholstery fabric) and the finishing strip. The rest will be provided to you
